Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the website at https://vortric.com (the "Site") and to services provided by Vortric Labs through the Site, unless a service is covered by its own separate terms. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. Browsing the Site does not by itself create any commercial services contract; engineering services are agreed separately in writing.

2. Open-source software and licenses

Software distributed by Vortric Labs through an open-source repository — including mqvpn — is governed by the license included in that repository (for mqvpn, the Apache License 2.0 as published in its repository). Where these Terms and an applicable open-source license conflict with respect to that software, the license published in the repository prevails. Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted to you by an applicable open-source license.

3. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

• use the Site or our services in violation of applicable law;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with their operation;
• impose an unreasonable load on the Site through automated means;
• misrepresent your affiliation with Vortric Labs.

4. No warranty

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Open-source software is provided under the warranty terms (typically warranty disclaimers) of its own license.

5. Changes and availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any service, in whole or in part, at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice of significant changes where practical.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vortric Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or our services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Third-party services

The Site is delivered via third-party infrastructure (see ourPrivacy Policy), and our software may interact with networks and services operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the availability, policies, or conduct of third-party providers.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
